New York airports
There are 3 main airports serving the NYC (New York City) and additionally there are some smaller airports and helicopter landing areas.

- Newark international airport - located in the state of New Jersey and located approx 25 minutes cab ride into Downtown Manhattan.
- JFK international airport, - named after the ex-President is connected by train with downtown Manhattan and is a popular airport with travellers.
- La Guardia international airport - located near to Flushing Bay in Queens is New York City's 3rd airportand is an international airport but also deals with a lot of domestic flights.
- Stewart International Airport;
- Teterboro Airport; and
- Downtown Manhattan Heliport.
The NYC area airports also serve as a Gateway into the the United States for
other locations on the East coast and across the country. On the Eastern Seaboard, other main gateway airport cities include Baltimore, Orlando, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta and Washington DC.
