The full name for Newark Airport is Newark Liberty International Airport and it lies within the city limits of both Elizabeth and Newark, in the State of New Jersey, USA. Situated about 15 miles from the heart of the centre of New York City, Newark Airport is operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey which is the same authority that operates J.F.K. International Airport and LaGuardia Airport.
