Guide to Broadway, NYC guide
NYC - Broadway guide for tourists
Broadway, New York City - is a name which people have heard all over the world and the name brings up different ideas and images to different people. The main common thoughts when thinking about Broadway include the Theatre District, Time Square and Shopping.
Broadway runs the length of the borough of Manhattan, all the way from near Wall Street at the bottom of the island, all the way up alongside Central Park and up into the Bronx.
Worldwide it is the theatre district which really gives it so much coverage and along with the West End in England, Manhattan's Broadway theatre district are considered two of
the toptheatre locations worldwide. Broadway is a wonderful street for walking up and down although be warned that it would take a few hours to fully walk Broadway. Covering the length of this street are hundreds of:
- Shops
- Restaurants
- Cinemas
- Live music venues
- Hotels
and a number of other interesting places including the David Letterman theatre, La Caridad cuban restaurant (the best value food in NYC) and the edge of Central Park.
