The American Museum of National History in New York City is one of the most prestigious museums of its kind in the world. The museum is also a science and research institution that is doing a lot of important work in the field of the earth and its evolution. The display at the museum is world famous, and boasts exhibits that illustrate the stage wise development of the earth, from its birth to the present day.

The museum is situated at the corner of 79th Street and Central Park West, which is in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, in the heart of New York City. The museum is made up of 25 buildings that are connected to each other. Within the museum, there are over 40 exhibition halls, a number of research labs and an extensive library. There are over 150 Dinosaur in the Natural history museummillion specimens at the American Museum of National History in New York City, and a staff of more than 200 scientists who work there.

Given the vastness of the exhibition, it is only possible to put a few exhibits on display at any given time. These exhibits are rotated during the calendar year, and depending on the date, only certain exhibits may or may not be on display. The price of admission to the permanent exhibits is not fixed, however there is a recommended donation amount.
